When we travel towards Switzerland or Italy our favourite route is via the Elzas. As we always want a piece of France during our holiday but also because this colourful part of the country is great for foodies. Riquewihr Riquewihr is a small enclosed village at a little bit less than seven hour drive from The Netherlands. It's part of the 'route vin d'Alsace' and it's probably one of the most beautiful ones. With it's amazing colourful houses and cobble stone streets it's a must see when you visit this region. Best Western Hotel Schoenenbourg We stayed in a great hotel just outside the defensive walls of the town: Best Western Hotel Schoenenbourg. The hotel has triple rooms, which means it's

As France is unfortunately not around the corner, we love to get that French feeling right here in The Hague. At Delicious Sweetness you can get delicious French products. They are specialised in macaroons, tartelettes and viennoiserie, like croissants and pain au chocolat. On a very sunny day we had the privilege of having a boat at our disposal. So while enjoying The Hague from the canal point of view, we stopped at the Hooikade. From here it is only a stone's throw away to the Denneweg. We ordered a bag of different croissants, an assortment of tartelettes and a baguette with pate and cheese. Well we can tell you that this piece of France aboard made us really happy. Our favorites are the

When Foodies Have Arrived got invited to the Grand Blogger Diner we did a big wooohooo and a small dance! It's such an honor to get invited by this event by Mr Goodiebag. This year it took place at the prestigious Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam. It kind of felt like a girls school trip as I took the train with some other bloggers like My Happy Kitchen, Over Eten Gesproken, Annie Pannie and Marvelousz. When we entered the grand Amstel Hotel we first had a 'photoshoot' on the spectaculair stairs of the hotel. Each single stair had a Godiva chocolate and it let to a chocolate and wine heaven. At the top of the stairs we were welcomed by the Godiva ladies. They had great wine - chocolate pairings and
