6 x PRESENTS FOR FOODIES

November 16, 2018

Sinterklaas and Santa Claus are on their way! Do you always buy your gifts in advance or are you more the last minute shopper? I always like to make lists for everyone in the family and buy as many personal gifts. As a foodie I am also surrounded by foodies. Therefore I made a giftlist for foodies. Men, women and kids...but frankly...I love all of them!

For men

Forged knifes

The knifes from Forged are absolutely made for men! These robust stainless steal knives are hand made. They are all hammered and come in three different series: Brute, Intense and Olive. The brute has an open crop (part between handle and blade), the Intense is a bit more refined and the Olive comes with an olive wood handle. The best thing about these knifes is that they come at a great price for a outstanding handmade knife.

Sold at Bol.com starting at € 34,99

Spherificator

Are you the perfect amateur chef? And do you already have everything there is to have kitchen wise? What about this Spherificator? It makes 'caviar' quickly and easily. The pearls look spectacular and make your dish look like it just came out of a professional kitchen. What about making vinaigrette pearls for a salad or honey pearls over the goat cheese? The set includes the maker itself but also sodium alginate and calcium chloride to make the best caviar.

Sold at Bol.com for € 149

For women

Betjeman & Barton tea

Most of you know I am a big tea lover. My favourite tea is Betjeman & Barton tea! What about an original amuse for Christmas: a cup of oolong tea served with high quality extra vierge oil and sourdough bread? My personal favourite is the 'C'est une Belle Histoire' tea. It is a perfumed tea with figs, bergamot and lime. A visit to one of their shops in The Hague is a good thing to do anyway as there is more to buy than just tea, like Emma Bridgewater tableware, chocolate and fudge. So a perfect Christmas foodie shopping destination! But if you don't have the possibility to visit The Hague, you can also shop their tea online

Dagelijkse Kost Wooden boards

I have been looking for nice wooden boards for a long time. Most of them are too plain to use them as a decorative piece in the kitchen. Besides using them for decorating the kitchen, I also want to use them as a serving board for tapas. Jeroen from the Belgian TV show 'Dagelijkse Kost' has wooden boards in different sizes that perfectly fit my needs. Absolutely love them, so they are definitely on my wishlist.

Sold at Bol.com starting at € 22,99

For kids

Opinel Le Petit Chef

This 3 piece knife set is perfect for the little foodies among us. If you already see a future chef, this high quality set let them become pro's. The ring in the knifes keeps the fingers in the right place and the red protector protects the sweet little fingers. It also comes with a peeler.

Sold at Bol.com for € 35

The Silver Spoon cooking book for children

The adult version of the Italian best seller The Silver Spoon also has a kids version. Do your kids, nephews or nieces love pizza and pasta and are little chefs in the making? This present is super for them! With beautiful illustrations and step-for-step recipes.

Sold at Bol.com for €19,99

This list is made with my personal recommendations and I did not receive any compensation or products for this article.
